CCA operates another division that started in 2001 called CCA Computer Services where computers and laptops are donated to the program.Units are repaired, upgraded and sold at low cost to schools, nonprofits, and individuals who normally could not afford one.Some teachers use laptops for tutoring children with disabilities, physical challenges, or are home bound. Clients use the internet to acquire learning skills and employment.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS
Donor advised funds is a charitable giving vehicle where an individual, familiy or corporation makes an irrevocable, tax-deductible contribution of personal assets to a charity with the recommendation to distribute a grant to a specific one. Using a Donor Advised Fund has no expense involved that establishing a foundation does, you can accomplish the same thing.
Generally, the lowest amount in a Donor Fund is $10,000.00 Assets used can be; Cash, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Securities and Real Estate. Your financial adviser or broker can show you the most appropriate and effective way to help our charity. Funds we receive go to help families in need. We issue small grants $500 to $1200. In addition, we help people save their homes when facing foreclosure by providing funds to acquire the property so the homeowner can remian in the residence.
Grants can be made to a charitable organization that is tax exempt under IRS Code Section 501 (C) (3). We ask that you keep CCA in mind when you make a charitable contribution.
